No American should face harassment or discrimination for who they are or who they love. Today we passed the #EqualityAct to finally extend civil rights protections to LGBT Americans and give them equal rights under the law. #HR5

Our country was founded on the principles of liberty and justice for all. It's far past time LGBT Americans had those rights enshrined in the law. I’m honored to have helped pass this landmark bill and urge my Senate colleagues to do the same.
