Tonight, I will lead a moment of silence on the House floor following the hateful shooting at the Chabad of Poway synagogue to honor Lori Gilbert-Kaye and those injured. As a community, it is right to take time to grieve this tragedy and our loss but we must follow with action.
As a nation, we must renounce and fight the rise of antisemitism, bigotry, and hate. I hope you will all take time today to consider how each of us can help stem the tide of this rhetoric and the violence it breeds.
