Scientists warn that we have underestimated the threat of climate change and that to avoid major catastrophe we need to take action—but that doesn't mean we start from zero. The #ClimatePlaybook has policies we can implement right now and many are bipartisan.
I encourage my colleagues to join the conversation. We can improve these bills, fill in gaps, and work with experts to turn ideas into solutions. Tackling climate change is an opportunity. I look forward to working together to take climate action now. #ActOnClimate
