We heard from both undergrad and grad students, who all want more options to pay down their debt. Our bill offers one solution by encouraging employers to offer their employees repayment as a benefit. Employees reduce their debt faster and employers can recruit and retain talent.
College administrators added that Pell Grants are essential to keeping college affordable. The grants help 5.4 million full-time and part-time college and vocational school students pursue higher education, so they can be successful later in life.
