Serious question — exactly what other than tweeting and finger pointing are you doing to end the shutdown you claim to abhor? As a former attorney, you know a deal only does not happen (esp b/w 1.5 and 5 billion) if one side does not want a deal. You appear to prefer a shutdown

Worse, however, is the lack of imagination. With a GOP Pres who could sell reform to his base, you ignore prospects for larger immigration deal (DACA, comprehensive) solely to bicker over one tenth of one percent, all b/c Pelosi feels advantageous to do so

Worst of all, b/c both sides are pot committed so neither can lose, there will be a deal meaning you will have shut down govt precisely to injure constituents solely to obtain result anyone could have foreseen weeks ago. Reminder: you rep the 52d, not SF, and ALL of it, not 51%
