In 1944, the G.I. Bill was created to help World War II veterans. The bill opened the door to higher education for many Americans who never had the opportunity. Since 1944, the bill has evolved to help even more veterans.

Last year, I was honored to help pass the Forever G.I. Bill, which modernized veterans education benefits for the new economy.
