Saddened to hear news of the passing of President George HW Bush. He led a distinguished life of public service to his country and his affinity for skydiving was truly something else. May he Rest In Peace.

Thanks to the Daniel Island Neighborhood Association and to all those who came out this evening to discuss the proposed Tri-County Waterfront Park. I enjoyed it and look forward to continuing the conversation!

I’m back in Washington, but my staff will be hosting Satellite Office Hours across the district this week, starting today at Timrod Library in Summerville at 1:00 PM and at 4:30 PM at the Bluffton Community Library...

On that note, I’ll be hosting two Neighborhood Office Hours this afternoon. At 1:15PM I’ll be at the Harris Teeter in Hilton Head (33 Office Park Road) and at 3:30PM I’ll be in front of the Walmart in Beaufort (350 Robert Smalls Parkway).
