Today, I voted in favor of the Tax Cuts and Jobs Act, a major tax reform measure to reduce the tax burden on individuals, families, and small businesses. Read my statement here:http://bit.ly/2yMZGuH

Contacted you numerous times to make certain that you heard my voice regarding my opposition to the tax bill. Once again you vote for party over the wishes of your constituents and the middle class.

The Tax Bill is a sham. While I do support a simplification of the tax code, this is NOT the way to go. I will no longer vote for you or support you.

I contacted your office to let you know that my wife and I, both educators in Jacksonville, are disappointed in your choice to bend to the will of your largest donors instead of doing what is best for working families. We look forward to voting against you.

Where is the CBO score? How many bipartisan debates were there re this bill? How many of your constituents are going to lose EVERYTHING if this bill passes? You do not represent me or the people of Jacksonville. Voted for you b/c I thought you were a good guy. You're not.

What a tragedy. This bill cuts taxes for the rich, not the poor, and it funds those cuts by cutting healthcare. Sweet work sir.

Not true! Half the country pay no taxes already. Of the other half, 70% use the standard deduction. Tax bill serves them well. Of the 15% itemizing deductions, FL is low tax state subsidizing 6 high tax states via SALT. So, just on face of it, 85% of North FL get a better deal.

False. Most of NE Fl earn under $75k which means they will be paying more in taxes. These tax cuts only benefit the rich. If they are confident that the cuts benefit the middle class then why isn’t it permanent like the corporate tax cut. No sir this does not benefit middle class

If you support lower taxes on working and struggling people then why did you vote for raising taxes on graduate students? Do you hate higher education or do you really believe that grad students deserve to pay a higher tax rate than millionaires with private jets?
