I spent 40 years of my life in law enforcement including 12 as sheriff, and what I saw goes against everything we as law enforcement officers are sworn to uphold. Justice must be served.

After watching the heart-wrenching video of George Floyd’s arrest and death, I see no justification for the shameful, inhumane actions of those police officers. Every one of the officers at the scene is responsible for the tragic outcome.

My condolences and prayers are with the Floyd family and the citizens of Minneapolis. Let me echo the MN Bureau of Criminal Apprehension and the FBI Special Agent in Charge in asking ANYONE who has additional video or information in this case to call 1-800-CALL-FBI.

Things have changed a lot for leo last 5 years. Most urgent part of video missing. Between Floyd's fall & him being on the ground. Things could justify their grip on him. Hindsight is 20/20. Those cops are entitled to due process. They should not be sacrificed for dem agenda.

This man was a straight shooter when we worked together in Jacksonville. He supported his officers when they were right, and held them accountable when they were wrong. He’s a sober voice in law enforcement.
