I just voted to replenish the #PaycheckProtectionProgram with $310 billion so that more small business employees across our country can draw a paycheck and receive the assistance they need to get through these challenging times.
Also included in today's legislation is $75 billion for hospitals and $25 billion for increased testing. Thank you to my colleagues on both sides of the aisle who came together to provide additional relief for those impacted by the #coronavirus pandemic.
Moving forward, I hope we can open our country as soon as safely possible to prevent economic disaster and continued unemployment. So many American families are hurting, and we need to get them back to work.
