Israel =/= the Jewish people. We can criticize a nation, even an ally, when they do something wrong; that's not antisemitism. Antisemitism is saying that there were "very fine people" carrying torches at Charlottesville and chanting "Jews will not replace us."
Today the House will consider bipartisan legislation affirming America’s support of #Israel. As we see an increase in antisemitism around the world, I am proud to stand with our closest ally in the Middle East and declare support for the Jewish people.
