Iran recently sentenced Nasrin Sotoudeh, a leading Iranian human rights lawyer, to 38 years in prison & 148 lashes. Instead of condemning this, the UN appointed #Iran to a UN women’s rights commission. This is disgraceful. The UN should not be rewarding Iran for this behavior.
