Hot take, since many people are seeing smaller tax refunds or even tax bills under the Trump "tax cut" (which mostly helped the 1%). People literally have less money than they expected. Also, that estimate attributes the growth in part to deficit spending to fund the tax law.

Guess you missed this: WASHINGTON (Reuters) - The U.S. economy fell short of the Trump administration's 3 percent annual growth target in 2018 despite $1.5 trillion in tax cuts and a government spending blitz, and economists say growth will only slow from here.

I'm middle class, I did not get a tax break. I pay more for everything now, including groceries and company health insurance. Tax break must be nice for you and your good old buddies, as if you needed it. USA is drowning in debt.

The “folks” keeping their $ is the top 1%. We have the greatest income disparity since the “Roaring 20’s” and YOU are cheering for this, while 99% are paying the economic consequences.

Republicans used to hate deficits and were fiscal conservatives, now they have drunkenly embraced deficits and are acting like spendthrift democrats. BTW how can you, as a lawman, support the thug like president and his band of criminals?
