The waters off the East Coast are home to vulnerable mammal populations, military operations, tourist destinations, and a vibrant maritime economy. Allowing seismic testing is unnecessary and potentially hazardous to the coastal communities that rely on a healthy ecosystem.
Dear Congressman Rutherford, I want to drill for oil and gas off the coast of Florida! I live very close to the ocean. I would love to stick my feet in the sand while gazing at rigs far off in the horizon. Every barrel of oil we produce is one less that the muslims can't sell!
