The House passed measures that mirror provisions approved by the Senate a short time ago. It is trump and McConnell who are refusing to be realistic. Now trump has thrown his shutdown tantrum and #trumpIsDamagingAmerica.

Did you know that you, as a member of a coequal branch of government, can OVERRIDE a veto! You can! You can do it! Pay the people who are keeping you safe and healthy and worry about pie-in-the-sky legislative issues once government is working.
