    May the memory of Don Young live on as an example for all House members who desire to serve God & country. He was a titan of a man and an icon of the House. He will be greatly missed by all. Our condolences & prayers go out to the Young family and all those who knew & loved him.

    America must increase pressure on the Russian government and its proxies. That’s why I cosponsored the Secure Our Ports Act, to prohibit Russian state-owned enterprises from owning a company contracted for operation or management of a U.S. port.

    I’m proud to announce the delivery of three A-29 Super Tucano aircraft to the Air Force's fleet, which are made right here in NE FL. I advocated to fund these new light-attack aircraft & I’m pleased to see them now bringing value to the Air Force mission.

    I visited the southern border to see the Biden Border Crisis firsthand. We spoke with overwhelmed agents who are desperate for more help to stem the tide of illegal crossings. From 2020-2021, over 1.7M people were apprehended at the border – & these are just those we caught!

    While blocking Russian energy imports is imperative, it’s not acceptable to simply increase imports from other countries like Saudi Arabia and Venezuela. We must immediately increase our own domestic oil production to reach true American energy independence.

    The Prohibition on Imports of Russian Oil Act bans imports of Russian oil & petroleum products. The American Energy Independence from Russia Act approves the Keystone XL pipeline, increases U.S. LNG exports, & prevents needless regulation on domestic oil & gas production.

    America purchases around 700,000 barrels of Russian oil a day. This must stop. That is why I am supporting legislation to place heavy sanctions on the Russian energy sector and increase U.S. energy production.
