There are still laws, Representative. I encourage you to think about how the people can achieve the purpose of those laws without sanctioning violence. If you take it seriously, I'm sure you'll find some creative solutions.

I would agree, except for the fact that they aren’t actually doing those things. I don’t understand why they insist on using the words “defund” and “abolish”, but if you take the time to read and listen, they don’t mean what they sound like.

It's not about reforms. It's about honestly reporting the costs of running a community. It's about making sure those funds don't end up in the wrong place. It's not racism. It's piracy.

We need to make police officers accountable for their actions and implement policies that ensure that we all have equal protection under the law.

MPD has been through reform and new leadership in the last decade. Still, training includes use of chokeholds and restraints that affect breathing. Culture must be changed, if not willingly, then by force of community. Officers disciplined multiple times should not be on streets.

Let them do it! They will get what they deserve! They only thought their city was destroyed...

I think Minneapolis will make the best decisions for them without your propaganda.
