I fully support @GovAbbott's plan to re-open Texas. I know my fellow Texans, and I am confident we can operate responsibly while still following @CDCgov guidelines. It's about time we pulled ourselves up by the bootstraps and got back to work. It's what we do in Texas.https://twitter.com/TexasTribune/status/1254863814912126979 …

Once again, useless congressmen shows his INCOMPETENCE by agreeing to this irresponsible plan. TEXANS ARE GOING TO DIE because infected people will be allowed to gather together unknowingly spreading out the virus again. NO REOPENING WITHOUT TESTING!

Careless Texas won't have required testing capacity until sometime in May. By then community spread could be rampant again. Texas throwing the doors open for too many businesses all at once. Odd so many relocated from cali to be in republican state. Now their lives at risk.

If YOU support it, will we be seeing you and your family out and about to support the local businesses? If not, you do NOT support this - you only support those who lobby you.

Well, get ready for more Texans to die. I do not agree with this. We need testing and contact tracing before we can safely reopen.

We'll see. It's been a completely botched federal response and the only responsible adult in Texas appears to be @JudgeClayJ. When are the medical experts expecting a 2nd wave? In June, right?

At 25000 tests per day (which we’re not close to today) after 365 days we’d have tested only a third of Texans.
