The collaborative efforts of all involved with Wichita State’s Molecular Diagnostics Lab adapted to the challenges brought forth by the pandemic and were a lifeline for all of Kansas. I am proud of their lifesaving work and thank them for their heroism.

(2/2) My hope is that President Biden, along with our European allies, will work to quickly bring about a prompt resolution to this unjust invasion.

President Zelensky delivered a powerful address this morning. I think it’s clear that we can do more to aid suffering Ukrainians, while also ensuring that this war does not escalate or go on indefinitely. (1/2)

The Biden administration is ignoring the crisis at our southern border and February statistics are proof. With the border crisis on top of rising gas prices and inflation, the Biden administration is failing American families.

(2/2) Putin’s unjust invasion of Ukraine is worsening the situation, but make no mistake – the massive gov spending, return to overregulation & attack on American energy production led us on the path to rising prices. I'm working every day to reverse those devastating policies.

ICYMI: Inflation hit 7.9% in February. For the last year, America has been under total Democrat control and at the mercy of out-of-control inflation. (1/2)

(2/2) Instead of investing in American energy, Biden canceled projects like the Keystone XL Pipeline, halted new drilling leasing on public lands & created barriers for the industry. These failed Green New Deal policies have American families paying an all-time high at the pump.

High energy costs are affecting American families. Prices have continuously risen over the past year – prior to Putin's invasion of Ukraine – due to President Biden and congressional Democrats' policies that hamstring energy producers and diminish our energy independence.

The price of gas increased by 75% since Biden became president *before* Biden blocked oil imports from Russia. Biden's anti-energy policies are crushing American families.

(2/2) My counterparts in the Senate passed legislation to end the CMS vaccine mandate, and the House needs to follow suit. I signed a discharge petition that supports the House taking action and requires Speaker Pelosi and House Democrats to address this issue.

In his , Biden mentioned the high gas prices that are hurting American families. Yet, he refused to acknowledge the role his administration has had in creating this shortage. Before Biden, America was energy independent – now, we depend on OPEC and Russia for oil and gas.

The president just finished addressing Congress and the nation. My response is below. ⬇️

Total Democrat control of Congress and the White House has crushed families across the country and our state. By every meaningful metric, Biden and Pelosi have taken us in the wrong direction and created multiple crises. To make our Union strong we must secure our southern border, rein in excessive Washington spending that’s caused rising prices, and return to American energy independence like we had under President Trump.
