Are you afraid to hold a town hall in Charlottesville where you might have to answer challenging questions? You can't make the TR claim that it's "not the critic who counts" if you never step into the arena of ideas. Past VA05 reps had courage to meet even opposing constituents.

The short answer to your question: yes, he's terrified. He knows he cannot defend the indefensible. Also, I am deeply disappointed in Tandem. The policies and officials that Riggleman supports in Congress are in direct opposition toward Quaker values.
