I’ll be watching your position on community rating. Expect to hear from your constituents if it is stricken. Ordinary folks don’t have the wherewithal to pay pre existing condition surcharges that will come roaring back if community rating is stricken.

Please share the text of the introduced bill. Does it protect "essential health benefits"? Without these defined, insurers essentially circumvent community rating by offering plans that don't cover expensive conditions (e.g. diabetes, cancer, etc.)
