The road to socialism is paved with the framing below. Not everything is “infrastructure”. House and Senate Democrats want to frame it as such because of broad support for improving our roads/highways/bridges. We need to hit the brakes and look at what’s going on in this debate.

Did I say unpopular? I mean programs that both parties must say they will not cut for fear of backlash by voters.
