As long as a person has a valid Social Security number, they can receive the credit at the full amount for Americans whose income is less than 75,000 for individuals, $112,500 for head of household, and $150,000 for married couples and reduced amounts for higher income earners.

Honest question, Rick - If you were an hourly worker, would $1200 be enough to see you through a month? 2 months? Longer? I hope you and your GOP colleagues realize what a tiny drop in the bucket this is and work with the Dems to come up a longer term financial fix.
