This is absurd and you know it. It's not compromising to demand something large and offer scraps in return. He's using government employees in unrelated departments as leverage for his ridiculous wall. Reopen the government, then negotiate for what you want.

When are these “times” that POTUS has been anything but a selfish spoiled child? He has no information, no curiosity, and no insight. Russia connived to put him in this high office and he has done nothing but sow chaos. If the GOP sticks with him, it will be destroyed.

Agreed! If Dems don’t want to negotiate declare an Emergency and secure the border with the National Guard. We are being invaded.

Border security is a distraction to implement white supremacist policies. Restore a functioning asylum application process. Create a pathway to citizenship. Renew TPS for the residents from whom that status is threatened. Stop fearmongering. The wall is for fascists.
