We live in a friggin desert, our most precious resource is water. The mine would divert water we need for sustainability & then when dumped, contaminate our ground water supply. That reason alone should be enough to stop it, but corporate people only care about money.
We no longer have to live with the industry-backed fiction that the law gives mining companies a blank check to mine & dump wherever they please. I introduced serious, pro-environment mining reform in Congress and look forward to moving it forward.http://ow.ly/AArW30pgN1F
