Social Security benefits is an essential safety net for the people who are unable, or care for those who can’t work. Dems see it as a means to maintain the ‘Dependency State’. Every 2 years they say the bad GOP would take their benefits away. Fear Politics

Not thinking this one through...what it does is encourage more people to invest into tax deferred vehicles. When they retire that equates to income along with their Soc Sec bene...this will have them reach Medicare's IRMAA which is a tax

How about we start by making Social Security a need based program. We can not expect the younger generation to support retirement funds for an all of aging population. If you don’t need social security you shouldn’t get it
