This is a win for just about everyone in California, Utah, Wyoming, Nevada, New Mexico, Colorado and my home state of Arizona. When this agreement becomes law, we start a water-sharing and conservation agreement that keeps our states working.

What is your state of AZ going to do about pissing away your share on cotton, alfalfa and golf courses?

We have only used recycled h2o on Tucson courses since the 80s. (Grijalva’s hometown). I believe Phoenix only uses recycled h2o now too but can’t say 100%. Most of the agri h2o rights are old federal laws so complicated. Rep Grijalva is a concerned & proactive environmentalist.
