Min wage hikes only help the taxman in the long run. Higher taxable wages and sales tax on higher priced goods. Inflation soon kills any benefit from the higher wage.

Every time anyone discusses raising the minimum wage, there’s a chorus of gloom and doom. Raising the minimum wage strengthens and expands the economy. The current minimum wage should be around $17/ hour to be comparable to minimum wages earned in 1960s& 1970s.
