    Words aren't enough to adequately describe how iconic of a trailblazer Cicely Tyson was in her long, accomplished life. In one of her last interviews, she said she wanted us to remember that she did her best. Mother Tyson, your best is what we should all aspire to. Rest in power.

    We all have our favorite independent musicians. Many of them are unable to make ends meet because of exploitative streaming practices. I support the Union of Musicians and Allied Workers in their demands for higher royalties, more transparency, and justice from Spotify.
