Does the bath's conductivity change in the areas that have already been solidified?

Dunno; haven't built it yet. But highly likely.

Absolutely amazing work! What do you see being the biggest challenge in creating a proof of concept?
-
Getting the electopolymerisation characteristics right (maybe I think that's hard because I'm not a chemist...). The obvious first experiment is to use two electrodes, rotate them, and see if it's possible to solidify a cylinder in the middle.

With a reverse Spectra system (that measures the current from one electrode to an opposite one) how can you polymerize a fixed point (a voxel) in that same path? Arguably Current doesn't flow in straight (laser) line, there will be a V shaped polymerization? I know since.. >>
-
In the light system, polymerisation only happens when the integral of the light through a voxel exceeds a given value. Unlike light, current does not flow in straight lines,so the calculation is more complicated. But it should still depend on the current integral through a voxel.

I would love to participate in a crowdfunding effort to accelerate the development please consider this

Thanks! That's really generous. I haven't really worked all that aspect of it out yet, but whatever we do we'll tweet.

Good work! Seems to me some of the technology involved might be relevant to 3D printing Salt Dough which can be cured in a microwave oven in seconds (and start a fire in a few seconds more) I also used salt dough to join plastic parts together (Knex, Lego, Plastic Meccano) HTH
