The news from Florida today is horrific. My heart is with everyone involved in this tragedy. We are all grateful for the men and women in law enforcement and other first-responders for their heroism today.

Fellow Mainers check out @TiffanyBond. She is willing to hold town halls, is highly qualified, and she wants us to donate in our communities instead of to her campaign. She is running a clean campaign and doesn't belong to corporate donors. She is the one who should represent us.

What do you really care? You took the NRA blood money. You're in the top 10! We should have passed stronger laws after Columbine, but people like you care more about the NRA than our kids.https://www.nytimes.com/interactive/2017/10/04/opinion/thoughts-prayers-nra-funding-senators.html?smid=fb-nytimes&smtyp=cur …

So when can we expect you to introduce an AR-15 ban? For planning purposes, you have about 7 months left.

I hope their donation to your campaign was worth those 17 lives, and the thousand of other preventable deaths. Born and raised in Bangor, by the way. This is NOT what Mainers want or believe in.

Why not donate some of that NRA money to help the wounded in the FL shooting? Or maybe donate some NRA money at the next mass shooting?
