If @realDonaldTrump is serious about reforming our broken immigration system, he needs to re-open the government. Once the shutdown is over we can start negotiating. Hopefully he won’t walk away from the table again.

The president has never been a reliable negotiating partner, and this administration has always been more interested in cutting legal immigration and separating families than actual reform.
