    Americans should never take for granted the sacrifices that our men and women in uniform make. Poteau native Sgt. Buddy James “Doc” Hughie was killed in action in 2007 & a flight terminal in Afghanistan was renamed Hughie Terminal in his honor.

    It was great to see the beginning of what will be the new Tishomingo Wildlife Refuge Center today! The damage from the flood in 2015 forced them to rebuild, but it sounds like the center will be a great place for visitors when it is completed.
