This is a nice sentiment, but a better one would be to pass a bill that would ensure the military gets paid during the shutdown.

How many years have you been back east? Essential employees will still get paid,; active during soldiers will still get paid 2/1. Nonessential employees get retroactive pay once they start back to work! Stop spreading falsehoods!
