Today I voted against a resolution to continue Speaker Pelosi’s Soviet-style impeachment inquiry. This is nothing more than a vote to continue the sham process the Democrats have run for the past 37 days.

From the start, the impeachment inquiry has been an attempt to undo the last election and this resolution doesn’t change that.

Serious question for anyone who reads this: could you help me define “Soviet style impeachment”? I have no idea what this term means, nor am I aware of any specific examples of judicial removal of Soviet politicians.

It's a reference to Stalin's show trials which he used to purge his political enemies. And a stretch.
