This is a terrible Amendment, Rep. Mullin. As well intentioned as you seem, using American force to regulate emissions in other countries is just as much of an overreach of the federal government as forcing those regulations on Americans themselves. Fight the whole bill. #HR9

What? You don’t remember what your president did, when he removed America from the World Agreement on reducing such emissions? Where was your outrage then, Mr Hypocritical Person? Our real problem is the village idiot in the White House, not your peers on other side of the isle!

It would have been better if you’d have called for Donnie to keep us in the Paris Accord along with China and Russia if you were sincere. For some reason, I doubt your motivation but just in case I’m wrong, Thank You for recognizing Climate Change and that changes are needed.

BTW, WTG telling your fellow congressmen to shut up and let you finish! I stand in solidarity with you. They asked for it. It was spectacular that you actually gave it back. Sometimes you just have to play their game.

So basically you are saying you DO NOT want this bill to pass? That’s like saying we’ll pass a Defense spending bill for $X if we can force the Chinese and Russians to agree not to spend more than $Y. Would we ever do that?
