Genuine question: what is the proposed alternative? Will parks be forced to sell reasonably priced reusable bottles and have bottle filling stations all over? Tourists visiting from plane distance may not bring theirs from home.

UNESCO world heritage site Machu Picchu only sells one bottle at a time, and those who climb the two mountains are only allowed to take one bottle with them. I found that to be not only a huge nuisance, but also dangerous, particularly at that elevation.
