Should airplanes be made with Prius engines? I don't quite understand how the FAA is expected to make airports more quiet. Communities should build commercial properties (like malls or auto shops) in flight paths instead of residential properties. Up to the city though, right?
Today, I met with the FAA administrator to question why the FAA has done so little to address air traffic noise. Their unresponsiveness to community concerns has been completely unacceptable.
