Despite how many may feel, we do not have to accept the #gunviolence epidemic as a normal fact of life. We must continue to pressure #McConnell to allow a vote in the Senate on #BackgroundCheck legislation & we must vote to ban #AssaultWeapons & high-capacity magazines.
Unfortunately, #MoscowMitch has shown that even w/pressure, he won't do his job. The only thing we can do, is get behind @AmyMcGrathKY of Kentucky & help vote him out.

The real ban needs to be on NATO rounds - 1 bullet ripping your innards apart is worse than 2 rounds going straight thru. Time for Bullet Insurance for the 1/3 so that the 2/3 don't subsidize gun households. Need to pay their fair share and stop living off the "Public Charge"
