Most people no longer panic when they hear that the government may shut down because they now see how little it affects them. However, I will blame Democrats for refusing to compromise -- because they've tucked a lot of "goodies" into the spending bill to appeal to their base.

A free wall (paid for by Mexico) is what we were promised! Not one cent of my substantial tax dollars going toward that wall. I’d happily give it to educate the next generation so they can understand what socialism is tho!
