The orgs are exempt but the emps aren't. The law lumps fringe benefits like cost of a parking spot into the taxable emp compensation. The emps get taxed on the higher amount, less take home. To make for that, the employer might want/need to boost emp pay. Leading to higher costs.

That is a little dramatic. Transit benefits are cap'd at $260 a month per employee. I don't think I have ever seen an NFP reach the limit. It's a payroll tax not really a scam...How about we focus on one of the actual real life crises caused by this administration/GOP?

How could it be any taxscam... we, Indonesia have a special department to take work job on taxes. Party like democratic or republican, is prohibited to take this business. All the tax implement is do by the Government. Our tax department is responsible to Finance Ministry.
