The fist question is silly. What's the point of calling #GunViolence an "epidemic"? Homicide rates--esp. of White people--are low. But that doesn't mean we shouldn't be using public policy to reduce gun violence.

"Do you think the NRA has too much power in Washington?" The NRA's power comes from selling its narrative to the American public--particularly White people. Yes, the NRA distributes $$$ in politics, but the real power is the narrative, not the $$$.
