This bill is unconstitutional. Our founders specifically said the federal government should not be within any state.
Instead of using the People's House for real progress, House Dems want to push a bill for DC statehood and ignore the real challenges facing our country.

Article one sec 8 gives congress the power to administer a federal district. The home rule act, currently in effect, gives some self governance to the federal district. No where does the constitution forbid statehood or any other remedy that congress decides for DC. U gas bag

Sooooo you are clearly lying or just didn’t read the bill, especially sections 111 and 112 which detail the new state boundaries and leave the capital out of it.Roll Call 122 shows you voted against the bill so you must have read it.That leaves just the lying option.Pathetic
