I am very disappointed with Apple. I cannot believe that they would not be eager to help, knowing there was a possibility that this was an act of terrorism. They knew three innocent men were killed, and access into that phone might prevent more deaths.

It may but there is a larger privacy issue to consider. If they give this information, if they even can, this time, how can they say no the next when they want your cell data to see if you’re supporting the party in power? Extreme example I know but the privacy issue is the same.

The problem is government has badly abused its power. We are only starting to understand the extent of spying on its citizens and the way government invaded people’s privacy. I detest Apple’s politics but they have proven more trustworthy than government.
