Is it ok for the president of the United States of America to ask a foreign government to investigate an American citizen? Hypothetically speaking. What if the allegation is baseless? What if he’s withholding a meeting? What if he’s withholding military aide?

What if he’s using a personal lawyer to make the request behind the scenes? What if that lawyer is working with criminals? What if the American citizen is a political opponent? These are questions that you won’t answer. If you really think it’s ok then at least own it.
