Way to use government shutdown for ur own political agenda. It’s a little pathetic to praise yourself for showing basic decency. Furthermore, why isn’t it law that members of congress will also NOT get paid in the event of a shutdown?

Noble. Calling this lapse in funding is like calling a strike at the local factory taking a break. The American people deserve better and we MUST engineer partisan politics out of the equation.I am embarrassed to see the Congressional leadership of this Nation is such a sad state
