U and GOP gutted msha (mine safety health admin) which has been in place for yrs. and helped miners from abuse from coal companies requiring operators to comply with laws and miners rights now a measly lump sum. Will do nothing if msha can't enforce
WV was just awarded a $642,000 grant to reduce mining accidents, injuries, and illnesses by supporting safety and health courses, and other programs.
