Enough is enough. Both Democrats and Republicans need to stop digging in their heels and work to find a solution that allows federal employees to go back to work and provides adequate funding for border security.https://mckinley.house.gov/news/documentsingle.aspx?DocumentID=1522 …

You had funding. Haven’t spent it. They gave you more - senate voted 100 to 0, just passed the house again and now senate won’t bring it up.

With all due respect, @RepMcKinley, you have voted repeatedly against legislation that would end the #TrumpShutdown. You are part of the problem. @SenateMajLdr continues to refuse to allow a Senate vote on legislation that would reopen government. #EndTheShutdown

The Democrats are more than willing to provide adequate funding for border security. Trump's government shutdown is effecting the NSA, the Customs and Border Protection and the Coast Guard. If he was truly concerned about terrorists and drugs coming into the United States,

He would not have stopped paying these American workers that work to prevent this. The problem is, Trump wants a monument in the form of a wall. David, you know that a wall is not needed, and so does McConnell. So why are they blocking the vote.

The house already passed a bipartisan solution (which you voted against). The Senate needs to actually hold a vote on that bill. If it passes send it to the president. If it fails then Congress needs to negotiate a solution. POTUS should sign whatever is passed.

I agree. So, why did you vote against the bill that would reopen it?https://www.reuters.com/article/us-usa-shutdown-vote/house-passes-bill-that-would-end-shutdown-but-senate-unlikely-to-take-up-idUSKCN1P32LG …

Your state is suffering hard from this nonsense. You voted against reopening the government. Get in there and do YOUR job.

It’s apparent that the President has already compromised already reached out already offered offered offered. The Radical Dems want nothing but to deny President Trump any “victories”-no matter the cost in lives no matter the damage to the country no matter impact on our citizens
