This week, we introduced legislation to rename the NASA IV&V facility in Fairmont after Katherine Johnson. Katherine is most notably recognized for her role in NASA's space program, where she was integral in developing flight patterns and performing statistical analysis. Her contribution to America's successful space program was recently depicted in the film Hidden Figures.
