I don't buy that the CDC can't extend the eviction moratorium - something it has already done in the past! Who is going to stop them? Who is going to penalize them? There is no official ruling saying that they cannot extend this moratorium. C'mon CDC - have a heart! Just do it!

Probably because it’s not a proper CDC function to unilaterally exercise vast power over the economy in this way. Congress can, but according to the Supreme Court, CDC is out of its lane. Waters knows that, of course. This is a blame-shifting exercise.

Cancel their vacation.??? They worked and now have time off. I guess some Americans don’t understand how things work because they don’t want to get a job. Instead of commenting, tenants need to submit job applications.
